Anton Robinson Ends Huddersfield Career

Anton Robinson has effectively brought an end to his Huddersfield Town career after he joined League One side Coventry City on-loan until the end of the season.

The 28-year-old former Bournemouth player was part of the Huddersfield side that won promotion to the Championship in 2012, but he has struggled with a combination of injury and competition for places with The terriers and is said to be welcoming a fresh start.

Robinson, who is contracted until the summer with Town, has signed a deal with Coventry that will see him up until 31st May 2014 be a Sky Blues player as he looks to earn himself a contract for next season.

Robinson heads straight into Coventry's squad and will be available for their trip to Stevenage on Wednesday night.

Robinson has done well to work his way back after a knee injury that has sidelined the midfielder for 9 months and cut short his loan spell with Gillingham towards the end of last season.

Robinson has made a total of 32 appearances, scoring once after signing for an undisclosed fee; believed to be 250k back in summer 2011.

We wish Anton all the best with his future career

We certainly need a new face in the side and one who should be busting a gut to earn a permanent move. Seems like someone with plenty of good League One experience.
