Kasey Palmer Returns To Town

Kasey Palmer is back in Town!!

The Chelsea midfielder, who made a surprise return to the Terriers squad for the play-off final victory over Reading, having been out of action since February. After suffering what appeared to be a season ending hamstring injury against Leeds United, and being called 'yellow' by a certain radio commentator. Londoner Kasey rejoins his adopted home for another season on-loan.

The 20 year old has just signed a new 4 year contract with Premier League Champions Chelsea, and will spend the 2017/18 season on-loan with Huddersfield with his loan contract set to run until 30 June 2018.

Palmer who enjoyed a dream debut for Huddersfield, netting the winning goal against Brentford with his second touch, is much loved in Yorkshire not just for his silky ability with a football on the pitch but his attitude and demeanour off it.

Head Coach David Wagner spoke to the clubs Official Site

"I`m very happy to have Kasey back at the Club. As we know from last season, he`s a very talented English player with high potential.

"Just as importantly, he is a fantastic personality too. He has real desire and hunger to be as good as he can be, but he`s also very humble. This is the best and most exciting mix that a player can have as he strives to become an excellent Premier League player.

"I know he feels he has unfinished business after his injury last season and I think that determination will be a big plus for him and the team this season."

I think it's safe to say we are all delighted with the return of Kasey to Huddersfield and I'm sure he will be a sensation in the Premier League this coming season.
