ICYMI: Huddersfield Town Squad Numbers 2017/18

ICYMI: Huddersfield Town Squad Numbers 2017/18

Huddersfield Town announced their squad numbers for the forthcoming season with a few surprises in their to be fair !

As expected incoming keeper Jonas Lössl takes the Number 1 jersey vacated by Liverpool loanee Danny Ward, with promoted youth keeper Ryan Schofield taking number 31 and Joel Coleman retaining his Number 13 shirt.

All of the existing Town squad retain last seasons squad numbers, surprisingly that includes Sean Scannell & Harry Bunn who have 7 & 11 respectively, with many Town fans expecting the pair to leave the club this summer.

One player who hasn't received a squad number at all is Jason Davidson, who still has a year to run on his Terriers contract, but the left-back infamously spoke put against David Wagners rotation policy, so his future here looks bleak to say the least. New signing Scott Malone takes the Number 3 shirt, previously assigned to Davidson.

Incoming midfielders Tom Ince and Danny WIlliams have taken 22 and 19 respectively on their arrivals from Derby & Reading (free agent)

Club record signing Steve Mounié takes the Number 24 shirt with former FC Porto striker Laurent Depoitre taking Number 20.
