Wagner Pleased With Stuttgart Draw
Head coach David Wagner was content seeing Huddersfield Town play out a draw with VfB Stuttgart in midweek.
Facing the Bundesliga side out in Schwaz, a second half fightback from the side saw them end the game level at three all.
Last season's Bundesliga 2 Champions had the three onel lead with goals from Simon Terodde, Chadrac Akolo and Tobias Werner with roughly 15 minutes to go, as Rajiv van La Parra had scored but two late goals from Collin Quaner and Sean Scannell had us on level terms by the 90.
Jonas Lossl (Joel Coleman 45), Chris Lowe (Scott Malone 45), Michael Hefele (Mark Hudson 45), Mathias Zanka (Sean Scannell 74), Tommy Smith (Dimitri Cavare), Danny Williams (Dean Whitehead 45), Aaron Mooy (Philip Billing 45), Tom Ince (Rajiv van La Parra 45), Kasey Palmer (Joe Lolley 45), Elias Kachunga (Collin Quaner 45), Steve Mounie (Laurent Depoitre 45).

Speaking to the Huddersfield Daily Examiner as he met with the press post game, Wagner was delighted to see the fighting spirit kick back in as he knows that will be important in the Premier League this coming season.
'I think in the first-half we had a lot of problems and we totally deserved to be 2-0 down, even though we had some opportunities ourselves. In the second-half we were much better, particularly in the defence - we didn`t give too many chances away and we able to score. It was a good test, everyone is healthy after the game and we have made some more positive steps. We are happy everyone had some minutes in the legs - we were in difficult circumstances in the first-half because of the heat.'
Wagner went on to say.
'But the main headline for me has to be that we were able to maintain our fighting spirit from last season. It was great to see that whether it was 2-1 down or 3-1 down the side wanted to win the game and never gave up. It's positive to see this attitude is still in the dressing room, even though it was only a pre-season game.'
