A strangely uplifting but disappointing, result at Bristol City. Surely we would all have settled for a point before the game, but then the 88th minute undeserved equaliser that City fashioned from nothing has left all Town fans feeling somewhat deflated at the end of the game. A curious mixture of feelings.
I did say before the game that we need to ensure that we dont draw games we should win and lose games we should draw if we are to make the holy grail of the play offs.
Time to assess the potential for the rest of the season.
Peter Jacksons said he wanted 10 more victories from the 15 games before the Bristol City match, obviously that's now down to 10 from 14, but curiously it is still acheivable.
Keep logging on for an in detail assessment of our remaining fixtures, but for now, in brief.
We have 14 games to go and by my realistic reckoning, if we continue in this vein of form I believe we could potentialy look to gain 25-30 points more.
Last season that would see us either just outside or just in the play off zone.
Its all to play for, and I for one am pleased that my fingernails grow quickly. I think we are all in for a nerve wracking closure to the season.
Of course were Jacko to make an outstanding loan signing, which I don't want to rule out, perhaps our chances could even improve further, already Sinclair looks a good addition to our squad.
