English football-The future's bright
If anyone doubted the current strength of competition in the English premier league, just take a look at the teams now confirmed in the semi-finals of this years European Champions League.
Liverpool, Chelsea, Manchester United and AC Milan.
Meaning that for the third season in succession at least one English club will play in the final, this season it could be two !
Last Year Arsenal were beaten By Barcelona
and in 04/05 Liverpool beat AC Milan in that memorable final in Turkey coming back from 3-0 down.
What is even more interesting is that all these three sides have a strong contingent of British players within their teams.
Vital football congratulates these three sides and hopes the ongoing exposure to top level football competition and the experience these players are gaining may very soon start to benefit our British International sides, especially England who lets face it, judging by recent performances, need all the help they can get !
