Williams - May not entertain you !

Robbie Williams switch to the Galpharm Stadium after agreeing personal terms could be off.
He has sustained an injury training with Barnsley initially thought to be a minor injury.

Town boss Andy Ritchie told htafc.com

'We were aware that Robbie had picked up a slight knock in training but their physio had taken him to hospital and they were convinced that it was nothing more than a trapped nerve.

'He came for the first part of his medical on one crutch as he was still suffering from some pain when trying to bear weight. (Town physio) Lee Martin had a look at him and decided that an X-ray was required to clear up the problem.

'Unfortunately for everybody, the X-ray showed that Robbie has a hairline fracture in his shin. The deal is obviously in severe doubt now and we will have to see where we go from here.'

Interesting one, what to do, he could recover quickly or maybe not, should the deal be called off or not.

Town should agree to sign him when he gets the all clear, unless its gonna take many months, say over three.

this is huddersfied, things dont go down as smoothly as my pint of tetleys. do they !
VanMan
renegotiate the price, he could be out injured 2 months then another month or so getting up to match fitness, a cheaper deal to be done for sure.
Hudders
it depends if ritchie has anyone else lined up, or that he can pursue.
Eddie01
cancel the deal and start looking elsewhere again, or wait until january transfer window to sign him.
Galpharm
another thought, thank goodness it happened last thurs and not this coming one after we had signed him !

He's a good young player by all accounts. He should heal quickly but..... Suggest we start looking at alternatives ?!
