Huddersfield close in on loan deal
Huddersfield Town are very close to completing a deal to sign Bristol City 6ft tall central defender Richard Keogh on an initial month's loan.
Andy Ritchie is keen to sign the Republic of Ireland Under-21 international, who knows the terriers Michael Collins from his international duties, in time for Saturday's trip to Millwall.
'We are 99% sure that the move will happen,' Ritchie told Town's htafc.com.
'I spoke to (Bristol City boss) Gary Johnson and it appears that we made the enquiry at just the right time.'
Keogh has made 53 league and cup appearances since joining City from Stoke in 2005. The player has yet to start a league game for the Robins this season.
