'If It's Football, It's Vital'

Jevons - Huddersfield view

Huddersfield Town loan signing Phil Jevons could be seeking a permanent move to Huddersfield Town.

The former Everton and Hull City striker initially signed on at the Galpharm Stadium from Bristol City for a month, following in Richard Keoghs footsteps.

Jevons said: 'We'll have to see how things go but I can definitely see myself staying here permanently. I believe the move started off as a permanent one but the discussions evolved slightly so it's now a loan. My incentive is to come here, do well, and earn a permanent deal, that's my aim.'

After scoring an impressive 17 goals to secure promotion to the Championship, for Bristol City, Jevons has surprisingly failed to start a league game this season.

'I haven't been playing games at Bristol City and I was getting a little bit frustrated, so as soon as I caught wind of Town's interest that was it.
'Obviously, I was part of a side that gained promotion from League One last season and, if I'm to leave there, I wanted to come to a club with similar aspirations and ambitions. That's what attracts me to Huddersfield.

Is this just more loanee speak or a genuine desire, do you know, do you care, let us know.

This is great !!!, not only are we now a feeder club for the mighty Blackpool, but seem to have entered into an arrangement with those footballing giants Bristol City, to act as junior partner in developing their talent. Thanks a freeking bunch Mr Ritchie.
