Not gone to Southend, for the Huddersfield Town game at Roots Hall, it is a long way to go, on a Wet and Wild Wednesday Evening.
If you are close to a computer, you can follow progress here, via our web update and have your say on proceedings via our shoutbox.
Town team
Glennon (he is getting slightly better)
Sinclair, Clarke, Mirfin, Skarz
Kamara, Wallwork, Holdsworth, Schofield,
Booth, Cadamarteri
Subs
Smithies, Williams, Collins, Jevons, Beckett
Jevons slightly injured, so he and Cadamarteri swap places.
Leon Clarke on loan striker from Sheffield Wednesday is back for the opposition tonight after missing the last four games, three through suspension and also being cup tied on Saturday.
Southends form has not been that good lately, slipping in the FL1 table and being held to a draw by non league opposition on Saturday. Unlike Huddersfield Town, whose recent form has been good, so it is surely with some optimism that the terriers approach this game.
Southend take the lead after only 3 minutes from Leon Clarke, Town's defence was certainly absent without leave.
Southend can feel themselves unlucky not to be more than one up inside these opening exchanges, deary, dear me.
Cadamarteri almost equalises from a Kamara cross, good save by Collis the Southend keeper.
Glennon pulls off a tremendous save from a Clarke header, unmarked again.
Leon Clarke looks up for this tonight, the terriers defence need to get a grip of Clarke.
The game is settling down a little now after that remarkable start.
Huddersfield again conceed a very early goal.
Glennon pulls off another good save, I take it all back, so far he has kept us in this game, it could be easily two goals for Southend.
Morgan misses an easy chance, this really is Southend's game so far.
Half Time 1-0 to Southend
The Shrimpers are good value for their lead at half time, although Town are showing flickers of their recent good form.
The second half kicks off, with no changes in personnel.
Huddersfield are looking to up the tempo here early on in the second half, no dount Andy Ritchie's half time comments are still ringing in their eyes.
That's 2-0 Southend now, with 58 minutes gone, McCormack the scorer, suspicion of offside.
That is a shame, the terriers were looking livlier than in the first half.
Huddersfield have pulled one back through Danny Shofield with a close range header. 2-1 to Southend, the game is back on
The terriers are pushing for their second goal now.
Jevons comes on for Kamara.
Glennon sent off for a challenge on Clarke, Smithies comes on for Andy Booth
Twelve minutes to go, and that is a terrible piece of luck for Huddersfield just as they were getting back into the game.
Glennon the centre of attention again, 1st half saviour, now off, chance for young Smithies in not the best of circumstances.
Collins replaces Wallwork with ten minutes to go.
Credit to Huddersfield they are still pushing forward with the ten men side.
Gower has scored for Southend from a counter attack, 3-1, it's goodnight Vienna for Town
McDonald comers on for Morgan for Southend
