Hudddersfield v Milwall

The Fa Cup cake and its icing eaten at the weekend, it is now back to the bread and butter of FL1 for Huddersfield Town

Vital Quotes:

Andy Ritchie - "It (the Chelsea game) was a memorable day, but it`s in the past. There are 16 League I games to go and we can still make the play-offs."

Kenny Jackett ( Millwall manager) - 'We must be more positive. It's a tough game, a tough industry and we have to get through it.'

It's an industry now is it, Kenny ?, a tough one is it, try working in industry for a day or two in a noisy, not warm, factory, working over a machine or conveyor belt for a low wage and you might find out how very much unlike an industry and very much not tough the life of professional football is. This is the quotes section so heres one from Del boy, You Plonker !

Terriers Team News:

Berrett will continue in place of Worthington, whom Ritchie is not going to risk.
Cadamarteri may feature for the reserves this week as he continues his recovery.
It could be as you were for the terriers.

Player to watch: Nathan Clarke

Nathan Clarke has been playing much better since Robert Page has been playing alongside him

Lions Team News:

Defender Zak Whitbread and midfielder Dave Brammer are set to return to the Millwall side.
Danny Spiller still remains out with a hernia problem, while Tom Brighton and Ryan Smith are both recovering from knee injuries.
Defender Andrew Frampton is expected to start again at centre-back with Scott Barron occupying the left-back spot.

Player to watch: Dave Brammer

Brammer makes the lions roar, hope he is still a bit rusty from his lay off

Match Facts & Stats

Huddersfield beat Milwall in September in London 2-1, last time out the lions lost to Tranmere 2-0.
They have only scored 8 goals away from home this season, and this surely is a game that Huddersfiels should be taking 3 points from.
The terriers went 4 games without conceeding before consecutive defeats to Carlisle and Chelsea.

Match Prediction:

Bookies have 4/5 Town win, 23/10 Draw and 11/4 Millwall. Stingy odds again, but I would bet on Huddersfield to win this one. If we don't it's probably bye bye play offs.

Next Fixtures:

Saturday away at Gillingham

If we cant knock off Millwall when they are 20th in the league and frankly can't buy a goal, when we need the points from these games in hand, it will show that some of the team are only motivated in big games. Three points minimum requirement. Passion and commitment would be nice too. Good performance if get the points, optional.
