Huddersfield Town vs. Norwich City

Galpharm Stadium

13 March 2010

15:00

Terriers Vs Canaries

Lee Clark knows all about Norwich City as he prepares to welcome the club to The Galpharm for this afternoons league one game

Clark of course jumped at the chance to leave Norwich, where he was assistant to Glenn Roeder, to join Huddersfield Town as manager. He still holds Norwich in high regard as they helped him on the route to management, however he will have no good feeling come 3pm this afternoon as he expects to see his Huddersfield side bounce back following the two devestating away defeats at Southampton and Gillingham.

Clark could tinker with the team again with both Gary Roberts and Lee Peltier expected to regaing their places at the expense of the suspended Eccleston and Tom Clarke will make way should Peltier be passed fit.

Vital Quotes:

Town Gaffer Lee Clark spoke to Htafc.com ahead of the game:-

'We have the chance to return to winning ways this Saturday against the league leaders and the best team in this League at the moment in time; it's a game that my players are looking forward to, as am I.

'Take away the fact that it's my old club - it's just because whenever you come up against the league leaders at home. We know they will bring a huge following, so it's a game to look forward to.'

Huddersfield Town Team News:

Nathan Ecleston starts his 3 game suspension following his wreckless tackle last weekend.

Lee Peltier could be passed fit to return to Town's defence.

Player to watch: Lee Novak

Arguably Towns player of the month he will again put in another hard working display and if Town want to get anything from todays match his team mates will need to match him

Norwich City Team News:

Darel Russell returns after suspension, but may have to settle for a place on the bench

Adam Drury travelled with the squad after featuring for the reserves in mid-week but the best he can hope for is a place on the bench

Former Town target Zak Whitbread is still ruled out through injury.

Striker Cody McDonald is also absent through injury

Player to watch: Grant Holt

Bustling centre forward who poses a real goal threat as well as creating plenty of chances for his fellow Canaries
