HTFC - Terriers Vs Lions Part 1

Huddersfield have a full squad to choose from ahead of the first of two meetings against Millwall

Lee Clark has also received an extra two players to pick from, after Jim Goodwin and Joe Skarz returned from their loan spells!

Town of course recently played at beat Millwall one-nil at the Galpharm, and boast a formidable home record having lost just once, To Norwich, all season.

Millwall travel to Huddersfield also in good form and having finished 3rd in league on and just a solitary point behind Leeds.

This could work in Town's favour with both the Lions players and fans disapointed at missing out on the automatic slot that they had held for moments during last saturday's final league one fixtures!

All we know is that both sides will be going all out to win the next two cup finals for a trip to Wembley!

Good Luck Town!

Vital Quotes: Lee Clark

"It`s cup-tie football now, but that suits our style, because we go into every game looking to create chances and score goals'

"I`d never set one of my sides up to sit back, defend and try to score on the break, it`s just not my way."

"Millwall are a powerful side but they can play football too "They`ve got stability after being under the same manager for a while and in my view, they`ve got stronger season on season.

"We`ll have to be on top of our game, the way we were when we beat them here before.

"We have to show our footballing skills, but also desire and application in defending our own goal, and we have to do it over two legs."

"They`ve worked to the maximum every day in training, and the evidence is that they`re really up for the challenge,"

"These are the kind of games you dream of being involved in when you`re a boy, the ones you work so hard towards on a day-to-day basis. They are ready to give their all."

Huddersfield Town Team News:

Robbie Williams and Dean Heffernan are pressing for a starting left-back slot.

Lee Novak will be hoping to start the game.

Danny Drinkwater and Tom Clarke are expected to be fit for the game, following the knocks they picked up at Exeter

Little twinkle toes has the ability to unlock any teams defence and Millwall found him hard to cope with on their last visit.

As is fellow striker Shaun Batt.

Unlucky Eh!

Club legend and still knows where the net is despite his advancing years
