HTFC - Terriers Vs Dons

Lee Clark could be set to ring the changes at Huddersfield following the poor showing in recent weeks, The Terriers scraped through the FA cup, courtesy of two late late goals, and succumbed to a 1-0 home loss against Exeter on Saturday.

The benefit of an experienced squad could help the manager with Alan Lee, Joe Garner, Alex Smithies, Lee Croft and Benik Afobe all itching to regain starting slots.

Vital Quotes: Lee Clark

'Throughout the Exeter game, but in the second-half especially, we passed the ball quite well and created numerous opportunities - we just didn't have that little bit of luck. We have to continue being on the front foot come 7.45pm on Tuesday.

'It's about getting the right result however you achieve it and I would have certainly felt a lot better on Saturday evening if we had got a positive result. The second-half performance against Exeter gave us some encouragement, but results are what we are all about.

'What I have stressed after Saturday is that we have to take more risks as individuals and get more bodies in the box when the crosses and shots are being fired in. I don't think we are getting enough numbers into the penalty area to convert them, so if we start doing that a bit more we will get more success.'

'MK Dons will be disappointed with their result from the weekend too and they will be coming here with a bit to prove. We're having a similar sort of season and we are in that pack of clubs who are there or there abouts, so we'll both be looking to push further up the table.

'A win on Tuesday night could change the complexion of the table once again. All the teams seem to be on a similar sort of run - we all lose together and all win together - and as I keep saying we need to start putting a run of consistent results together sooner rather than later.'

Huddersfield Town Team News:

Lee Novak, Tom Clarke and Gary Naysmith all remain sidelined.

Alan Lee, Joe Garner and Lee Croft are all pressing for starting places.

Benik Afobe, on loan from Arsenal, who missed out against Exeter is also pressing his claim.

Alex Smithies, fit again, is having a tough time ousting veteran Ian Bennett who has produced man of the match displays in recent weeks.

Player to watch: Damien Johnson

The on loan Plymouth man, who runs the midfield engine room, will have all eyes on him this evening.

MK Dons Team News:

Luke Chadwick is missing for the Dons through suspension.

Sam Balock faces a late fitness test on an ankle injury

Jermaine Easter is also an absentee as he recovers from a thigh strain.

Defender Jude Stirling is also missing with a long term groin injury.

However Aaron Wilbraham could feature after recovering from a back injury

Player to watch: Peter Leven

Missed a penalty at The Galpharm in 2009, but has the ability to put the Town defence on the back foot.

Match Prediction:

Tough game on both sides, Mk Dons coming off a heavy home loss against Sheffield Wednesday, and Town struggling to get going. Huddersfield 2 - 2 Mk Dons
