The Match: Terriers Vs Bees

Huddersfield Town go into the final game of the regular season looking to extend their unbeaten run to 25 games.

The Terriers know that second spot is all but mathematically improbable now as they gear themselves for the lottery that is the play-off's.

Vital Quotes:Lee Clark to the Examiner

"I will not be talking to the players about the play-offs until the Brentford game is over,

"And I am not going to be thinking about the play-offs until 5 o`clock when it is decided who we will be playing.

"Then we can get the dossiers out as we have already watched the teams we could be facing on numerous occasions.

"For the last six to eight weeks we have looked at our potential play-off situation.

"We wanted to gain automatic promotion but we knew that if that didn`t happen we had to be looking at the teams who were competing for the play-off places.

"We are confident, but what you have to realise is that we are playing cup football from here on in," he said.

"You have got to have the desire to handle the situation, but it is not always the team who finishes third who is the successful one in the play-offs.'

Huddersfield Town Team News:

Jordan Rhodes is expected to return to the starting line up.

Anthony Pilkington, Damien Johnson, Liam Ridehalgh and Alex Smithies are all still absent for Town.

Player to watch: Danny Ward

After his goal at Brighton, the on-loan Bolton winger, he is surely full of confidence and pressing for a starting place.

Brentford Team News:

Charlie MacDonald is unlikely to play.

Gary Alexander is also ruled out (knee)

Robbie Simpson is ineligible to play.

Craig Woodman (metatarsal) and Pim Balkestein (ankle) are set to miss out again but fellow defender Leon Legge could return after a groin injury.

Simon Moore continues in goal with regular number one Richard Lee still on the sidelines with a shoulder injury.

Player to watch: Jeffrey Schlupp

Scored a few goals recently and will be looking to end the season that way

Match Prediction:

Huddersfield 3 - 0 Brentford.

Next Fixtures:

Sat 14th May 2011 at Either MK Dons or Bournemouth in the play-off's first leg
