Terriers Vs Saddlers

HUDDERSFIELD Town return to the Galpharm in action this weekend and will have to do without striker Alan Lee.

The Irish man picked up his 5th booking of the season at Yeovil and sits out the game, with Lee Novak widely tipped to get the vacant starting slot.

Town will of course also be wearing the limited edition Help For Heroes kit for the game and so the traditional blue and white stripes will be on the shelf for this game.

Town will of course be buoyed by the news that Lee Clark has rebuffed claims in the media that he was set to join Leicester and reaffirmed his desire to remain as Huddersfield Town manager.

Town go into the game on a 41 match unbeaten run looking to make that 42 and equal Nottingham Forest's record.

Vital Quotes: Lee Clark

'I don't want to try and play the record down, but getting three points is more important. Three points will get us closer to where we want to be. If achieving the results helps us break records, we will definitely take that. Ultimately, our focus is on Walsall, which I know will be a very difficult test. I have watched their last couple of games and I have been very impressed by them. Even when they went down to ten men on the weekend they did really well.

'They have got physical defenders who make it tough and also have pace in good attacking areas. In terms of our squad we are waiting on the fitness of Oscar Gobern, who has missed the last couple of games with an ankle problem. Alex (Smithies) is obviously ruled out, because of his knee injury, but Oscar has a chance.

'The players are the key to the unbeaten run. They have responded to every challenge that they have come up against during the run and have found an answer. They have delivered results in many different ways; sometimes it has been through scintillating football and sometimes it has been through hard work. Whatever happens in their career from now on in they can be immensely proud; to have a run like the one we are on in professional football is brilliant.'
