Stevenage vs Huddersfield Town

SIMON GRAYSON takes his Huddersfield Town team to Stevenage for tonight's crucial league one game.

The Terriers can close the gap to second placed Sheffield United to just one points with a win tonight at the Lamex Stadium.

However Stevenage will be eyeing the points themselves as they chase Carlisle in the final play-off position.

Huddersfield have to make do with-out leading scorer Jordan Rhodes, who is on Scotland duty, although a knock he suffered against Exeter may have ruled him out anyway.

I am sure tonight wont be for the feint hearted.

Expect a hard fought game with The Terriers to narrowly edge it.

Vital Quotes:

'They are a very hard working and organised team - and I know there was a bit of controversy the last time the two teams met. To be where they are in the League is a great achievement for them and they will be hoping to break back into the top six. We will give every team the respect that they are due. Teams that have momentum rapidly rise up the League ladder; they have a winning mentally and a group of players that have played together for a long time and that can take you a long way.

'I think they have changed slightly since the new management team came in; I think their ethics as a hard-working team have stayed with them. They try to pass the ball more than they did under Graham Westley, but they were very successful under him. Ian (Miller) and Glynn (Snodin) went to watch them last week against Notts County to get an idea of how they are likely to play.'

Stevenage Team News:

Chris Beardsley is an injury concern for Stevenage.

Defender Jon Ashton is expected to be fit after suffering blurred vision.

Player to watch: Luke Freeman

Arsenal schooled Freeman has the ability to unlock defences but also has an eye for the spectacular goal - be warned.

Huddersfield Town Team News:

Jordan Rhodes is away on international duty.

Peter Clarke and Tommy Miller both remain sidelined after double Hernia surgery.

Player to watch: Danny Ward

Wardy - who was on fire on Saturday - could prove crucial tonight as Town look for someone else to grab the goals in Rhodes's absence.
