Shakers vs Terriers

Huddersfield travel to Bury today looking for three vital points as they chase the top two in nPower League One.

The Terriers were pegged back in their last away outing at Stevenage after taking a two goal lead, and that is something that they won't want to repeat for the 15th time this season!

Striker Jordan Rhodes has returned from Scotland duty and will return to the starting line-up where Alan Lee and Lee Novak will battle it out for a starting slot alongside the 30 goal Rhodes.

Novak is expected to win that battle after his second half display at Stevenage and his game changing sub appearance at home against Exeter, although Alan Lee won't give up the shirt without a fight. The veteran irishman has started both games under new boss Grayson so far.

So what about Bury?

Well the Shakers haven't won in their last seven league matches - Four defeats and three draws - surprisingly one of these draws came against Charlton!

Bury currently sit 14th in the table with 40 points and are just 9 points of the play-off pack.

Bury, of course, gave Huddersfield a tough opening day fixture at The Galpharm but now that Ryan Lowe has left for pastures new - could Town gain all three points at Gigg Lane this afternoon?

Vital Quotes:

'We will be very positive and take the game to Bury. It is slightly different away from home because the onus is on the home team, which may make the game more open. We will need to win our individual battles and pass the ball better than we did at Stevenage, because we gave the ball away too cheaply on Tuesday night.

'I have been to Gigg Lane quite a few times as a manager in pre-season with Leeds and Blackpool. It is a tight ground and they are fighting for their lives, scrapping for points; we know we are in for a tough game, but it will be a good atmosphere and we will take a good number of fans. The fans that travelled to Stevenage created a fantastic atmosphere and were very vocal.'

Bury Team News:

Joe Skarz comes up against his former employers.

Another former Terrier Efe Sodje is set to miss out after collecting 10 yellow cards and will serve a two game suspension.

Player to watch: Andy Bishop

Bishop, signed for Bury in 2006, top scorer with 9 this season.

Huddersfield Town Team News:

Jordan Rhodes returns from international duty.

Peter Clarke & Tommy Miller remain sidelined after double hernia surgery.

Antony Kay pressing for selection following a sub appearance at Stevenage.

Player to watch: Jordan Rhodes

The top-scorer returns, looking to add to his 30 goals already this season.
