Derby County vs Huddersfield Town

HUDDERSFIELD TOWN head to Derby with a renewed belief that they can survive in the Championship.

The Terriers recorded a mid-week victory over Crystal Palace, that looks to have given the players the belief back that they are good enough to compete in this division.

James Vaughan got the goal on Wednesday night, but the whole team display is what will have pleased supporters.

So more of the same will be required if Huddersfield want to bring anything back from Derby, a place we last tasted victory from in 1957!

Jermaine Beckford will miss out as he goes for a scan on his hamstring injury but Chris Atkinson returns from injury to give Mark Lillis a selection headache.

It is expected that Huddersfield may well name an unchanged starting eleven, with any changes coming on their bench.

Vital Quotes: Mark Lillis

"I`m trying to give the players freedom to enjoy themselves. We have some fantastic players here who can really pass the ball and I like seeing them come off the pitch with a smile on their face.

"We`re not getting carried away though, as we have a really tough away game at Derby on Saturday. They play good football. We haven`t done anything yet; there are a lot of points to play for and it is important that we are still a Championship side come the end of the season."

Derby County Team News:

Theo Robinson available after a bout of tonsillitis.

The Rams have no other injury concerns

Player to watch: Theo Robinson

We all know what he is capable of, the former Terrier is Derby's leading scorer this campaign

Huddersfield Town Team News:

Jermaine Beckford (Hamstring) is ruled out.

Lillis is boosted however with the return to training of Academy product Chris Atkinson, who has missed the last 5 matches.

Recently called up to the Welsh squad, defender Joel Lynch, is also back in training but faces a tough ask to dislodge Peter Clarke & Anthony Gerrard.

Oscar Gobern is also back in training but is severely lacking in match practice, it was expected he would have a short term loan spell sorted out in the transfer window, but that failed to materialize.

Keith Southern (Achilles) and Danny Ward (Foot) both remain sidelined.

Player to watch: Adam Clayton

Midfielder Clayton has looked impressive in the last two outings under caretaker manager Lillis.
