Andy Ritchie begins his managership at the Galpharm against a Millwall side who are in good form lately and just have the faintest of faint hopes of making the play off's.
Ritchie, a striker at Oldham when Willie Donachie current Millwall manager was assistant to Joe Royle in the late 80s and early 90s, has never crossed swords with the Scot as a manager, but hopes to make it a winning start as Terriers boss at the Galpharm Stadium.
Ritchie said: 'I'll enjoy it if we win my first home game and hopefully it might put a few more on the gate - it might take a few off, but it would be nice to get off to a good start at home.
'It won't be easy because Millwall might be harbouring hopes of the play-offs still, but it will be nice to see Willie again - and beat him.'
The Clarke brothers are missing as ever, Hardy and Young are still out injured, Andy Booth is struggling with a groin problem and won't be available for this game. Back in contention after being out injured. are Gary Taylor-Fletcher, Andy Holdsworth, and Danny Schofield.
Fletch hasn't scored for a while and coming back into the side after injury and with a new manager to impress, could add up to a good performance from him.
Millwall boss Willie Donachie expects to welcome back Marvin Elliott.
Den boss Willie has a full squad to choose from, with the exception of Zak Whitbread (groin) and Ben May (ankle).
Byfield is their top scorer on 14 this season and a clinical finisher.
Millwall are unbeaten in their last four outings, drawing with Tranmere last time out, whilst Town haven't won over the same period. The two sides saw out a 0-0 draw in December at the New Den.
The bookies say, Home win 5/4, Draw 9/4, Away win 7/4. Millwall are going well lately and were it not for Andy Ritchie's debut you would have to fancy them, but with some senior players returning to the side and the lads playing to impress the new manager, and end any slight fears of relegation, I think the game will end all square.
