Huddersfield will be hoping to end the season on a high with a win against Orient currently 20th in FL1, to maintain Andy Ritchie's sides resurgence in form.
We have quite a few targets in mind for next season and we are in constant communication with players and their agents. There are one or two that I would really like to bring in, but it's down to the squad and getting the budget right. I'm going to have to make decisions over those players who will be out of contract by the end of the week and it's not been easy for them or me given the unfortunate timescales we are working with since I came in.'
Andy Ritchie will welcome back Gary Taylor-Fletcher to the squad after a groin knock but Danny Schofield (ankle) and Andy Booth (groin) are out. The Clarke brothers of course are out as is Hardy and Young.
Town will have Michael Collins available again after he missed the Northampton game through a one-match suspension
May his recent goalscoring run continue, its amazing what a finisher can do if he gets a steady run in the team !
Leyton Orient are likely to make changes to their team after boss Martin Ling recently released six players.
Gary Hooper has been recalled by parent club Southend, while Ryan Jarvis plays the final game of his loan spell.
Undoubtedly the incredible Matt Lockwood the sensational goalscoring left back, who has scored 11 times this season and just signed a new contract.
Town have won only 1 of the last 8 matches, but the arrival of Andy Ritchie has seen a notable improvement in the level of performances. Coincidentally, Leyton Orient have also won only one of their last eight matches.
The two sides last met in December 2006 and Orient came out 1-0 winners. Town's job was made a lot harder on the hour mark when Martin McIntosh mistimed a challenge from behind to pick up his second booking from referee Darren Deadman - the same referee who sent off Michael Collins in the last game at the Galpharm against Millwall!
The bookies are saying 10/11 Town win, 9/4 draw and 13/5 Orient win. Town must surely win this with players playing for contracts and Orient the worst placed side not to be relegated, but safe, with nothing to play for. Town to win by 1 or 2 goals
Next season , July Friendly.
