Cheltenham v Huddersfield

It's a long trip down to the South West for the terriers, and with Cheltenham coming to the Galpharm earlier in the season and waltzing off with a 3-2 victory, a trip they should be eager to make to set the record straight. Cheltenham are one of the sides Huddersfield should be turning over if promotion or the play offs is to be a reasonable target !

Vital Quotes:

We should have beaten them when they played here earlier in the season. We had enough chances in that game to beat two teams on that day, and we were robbed of a perfectly good goal from Luke Beckett at the death which would have made it 3-3. I was disappointed with the goals we conceded and it was a game we should never have lost. I think we are a better side now,

Them Team News:

Ashley Vincent could be available after recovering from a knee injury but John Finnigan (foot) and Scott Brown (broken leg) remain sidelined

Player to watch: Damian Spencer

Damian Spencer scored two at the Galpharm and the big man could cause us more problems, our defence don't seem to handle his type of player well

Us Team News:

Ritchie - Chris Brandon will not be fit for this weekend, and (Danny) Cadamarteri will be travelling with us, but we will leave it to the last moment before making our choice. He needs to go through a more strenuous training session this afternoon and we'll just have to see how he is; there is a good chance he will be on the bench. Worthington is close to starting; he got 45 minutes on Wednesday in the reserve game against Shrewsbury and showed good commitment in wanting to play. However he is not guaranteed to come straight back into the side, Ronnie and Andy have been fantastic in midfield so far and Michael Collins has been very patient.
Worthington could feature, and Sinclair is still suspended.

Player to watch: Phil Jevons

Phil Jevons wil be wanting to secure his future and looks in form

Match Facts & Stats

Despite sitting 21st in the league, Cheltenham Town have collected 2 wins and 3 draws from their last six home matches, and won last time out against Luton 1-0 at home.
Huddersfield as we know are still in unpredictable mode.

Cheltenham - Cheltenham is home to the Cheltenham Racecourse, which set against the backdrop of the scarp at Cleeve Hill hosts the Gold Cup, one of the highlights of the British sporting season.

Match Prediction:

Draw, DRAW, D R A W, Bookies say 11/8 Cheltenham, 11/5 Draw, 8/5 Town, which does suggest it could go any which way but loose, which I agree with

Next Fixtures:

Home to Crewe, Boxing Day (bloated and hungover !)
