Swindon Town come to the Galpharm, having climbed out of FL2 last season, in 10th place in FL1, six places above Huddersfield. Both sides are Towns, both sides have and are recovering from the traumas of bankruptcy and both clubs stated aim is the Championship.
It has been very quiet on the pre match quotes front this week.
Here are some things of interest about Swindon instead.
The rock band XTC, the rock-pop group formed in 1977, are from Swindon. Co Founder guitarist, vocalist, songwriter Andy Partridge still lives in the town.
Noel Gallagher, the lead singer of the rock band Oasis chose the name of his band after visiting Swindon's Oasis swimming pool and leisure centre in 1993, while working as a roadie for a band, Inspiral Carpets, which had been performing at the leisure centre.
Actress and Singer Billie Piper was born in Swindon in 1982.
Approx 184,000 people live in Swindon.
Looking good, Chris Brandon will return to the squad after suspension.
Danny Cadamarteri is the only long-term injury.
Can he and the defence make it four clean sheets in a row.
Barry Corr will not feature
Simon Cox should start up front, after the Football league finally approved his transfer from Reading. Craig Easton is still out with an injury.
Billy Paynter is suspended.
Former terrier Jamie Vincent (left back) now plays at Swindon
Scored nine goals on loan, and now signed permanently by Swindon
Swindon are in a good run of form, their last six league outings have returned two wins and four draws. They are unbeaten in their last nine !
Huddersfield of course are unbeaten in the last four league and cup games.
This is the first time the two sides have met this season
Bookies say 11/10 Town, 11/5 Draw and 2/1 Swindon. The visitors are in fine form and I can see this game being a tight game, with a draw or narrow victory the outcome for the terriers
