Central defender Peter joined Huddersfield Town from Southend United during the summer of 2009 on a three year contract and was immediately made Club Captain by manager Lee Clark.
The former England under-21 international was the reigning 'Player of the Year' at Roots Hall and brought a wealth of experience to 'The Yorkshire Club' after spells with Everton, Blackpool and the Shrimpers.
Peter is aggressive in the challenge and dominant in the air and led by example in his first full season at the Club. The centre-half was a rock at the back for Town and also came up with some important goals - at crucial stages of the season. Clarke finished the season on a high by scooping the prestigious 'Hargreaves Memorial Trophy' as the Club's Player of the Year.
