Lee Clark added the vastly experienced Damien Johnson to his squad on the eve of the 2010/11 season on a season-long loan from fellow League One side Plymouth Argyle.

The battling central midfielder has spent the large majority of his professional career in the top flight of English football with Birmingham City, when he accumulated over 50 international caps for Northern Ireland.

Known for his tough-tackling and high work rate, he is also very comfortable on the ball and provides the vital link between defence and midfield.
