A second year professional with a great left foot, Liam joined Town's Academy at under-12 level.
A very athletic player with great ability when it comes to passing, he is also very strong in defence. Liam generally plays at left-back or centre-back but he is versatile enough to play in various other positions.
He signed a new one year contract in the summer, with manager Lee Clark praising the development he had made as a football during his time at the Club, and he will be hoping to make his Town debut during the 2010/11 campaign.
