Arsenal's England under-19 international striker Benik joined Town on loan for one month in early November as cover for Jordan Rhodes and Joe Garner due to an injury to Lee Novak and Alan Lee's three match suspension.

A powerful rookie forward with great pace and awareness - as well as an awesome goalscoring record at junior level - he made an impressive Town debut as a substitute at Sheffield Wednesday on 2 November.

Benik went on to score his first goals in senior competitive football in an emphatic 5-2 win over Rotherham at The Don Valley stadium, Afobe netted an impressive brace.

The two clubs are in talks to try extend the initial one month loan, such has been the impressive displays from the 17 year old thus far.
