A former Rangers junior, Glasgow-born Wallace was linked with many Premier League and Championship during the January transfer window.
The 19 year-old, who can play anywhere across the back four, had established himself in the Falkirk side this season, making 23 appearances for the promotion-chasing Bairns.
He joins Huddersfield Town for a reported £300,000 on the 31 Jan 2012 but will spend the rest of the season on loan at Falkirk.
