Academy scholar Lloyd was added to the first team squad ahead of the Johnstone's Paint Trophy Second Round game against Peterborough United in early October 2010 due to an injury to Alex Smithies, aged just 16 years old at the time.
Allinson made 27 appearances for Graham Mitchell's under-18 side whilst still a schoolboy during the 2009/10 season and made his reserve team debut during the 3-1 home win over Leeds United on 3 March 2010. Formerly a junior with Rothwell Town, the Leeds-based goalkeeper joined the Club seven years ago.
He has been handed squad number 26 once again for the new season, but he is still a second year scholar at the Academy and is expected to feature largely for the Development Squad as well as the under-18 side.
